For the first time in history, the UFC held an event at the Intuit Dome arena located in Inglewood. At the post-event press conference, Dana White announced that the show was completely sold out and recorded historic revenue numbers:
“UFC 311 was attended by 18,370 people, and we generated $10.2 million in ticket sales, which is the highest result in the state’s history. What’s even more impressive is the fact that before the weigh-in ceremony, $7.5 million worth of tickets had already been sold. After Arman Tsarukyan was removed from the fight, the number rose to $9.5 million, and once we replaced him with Renato Moicano, the final total reached $10.2 million,” Dana White told the local press.
Ticket prices for UFC 311 ranged from $376 to $5,000, which is a standard pricing range for the mixed martial arts organization.
Previously, the California record was held by UFC 298, which took place in February 2024. At that event, Ilia Topuria knocked out Alex Volkanovski to claim the featherweight title, while Merab Dvalishvili secured a title shot by defeating Henry Cejudo. That event was attended by 18,186 people and brought in $7.26 million in revenue for the organization.
For reference, in 2024, five UFC events surpassed the $10 million mark in ticket sales: UFC 306 ($21,829,245), UFC 309 ($16,673,954), UFC 300 ($16,508,823), UFC 303 ($15,909,243), UFC 299 ($14,142,904).
